Executive Team

The iSelect Board delegates the responsibility of day-to-day management, to the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Management team. The team has a range of experience across multiple industries and sectors, both in public and private corporations within Australia and abroad.
The Executive Management team comprises:

Damien Waller – Chief Executive Officer

Damien is the Founding Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, leading the iSelect business from idea creation through to its current level of achievement.

Prior to launching iSelect, Damien gained commercial experience with large corporations including General Motors Holden, and worked in executive positions with pre-eminent stockbroking and investment banking house, Goldman Sachs JBWere.  Damien was instrumental in building a highly strategic and innovative Private Investment Banking business for Goldman Sachs. 

 

Gerald Brown – Group Chief Operating Officer

Gerald joined iSelect in August 2006 to explore new markets and launch new business lines. He has 20 years commercial experience and has held the positions of Sales Director, MD, COO, and CEO with public and private USA and European corporations and has managed several mergers and acquisitions of listed companies.

Before joining iSelect Gerald spent 15 months establishing FFastFill's Asia Pacific operations across China, Singapore and Australia.

 

Paul Cullinan – Group Chief Financial Officer

Paul has worked closely with iSelect in an advisory role since February 2004 and was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in January 2006. Paul, a Chartered Accountant with over thirteen years experience, leads the finance team in developing best practice reporting systems and providing strategic and tactical advice to maximise profits and shareholder returns.

 

Rohan Martin – General Manager Corporate Affairs

Rohan joined iSelect in June 2007 in order to establish a corporate affairs function for the company, including responsibility for compliance, stakeholder engagement, external communications, and governance/regulatory related matters.

Rohan joined iSelect most recently from Australia’s largest gambling company Tabcorp, where he held a number of senior positions over the last nine years with responsibilities involving corporate affairs, compliance, responsible gambling, media and government relations and reputation management. Rohan was a key driver behind Tabcorp’s recognition and leadership in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. 

 

Cameron Rosel – Marketing Director

Cameron joined iSelect in 2005 and brings experience marketing a variety of large brands and new media businesses including Wishlist, Sanity, SAAB, AAMI, Primus, M&Ms, Jenny Craig, AVJennings.

Cameron is trained in strategic business management and marketing and has over 10 years experience in the industry. Previous to iSelect, he started up the digital marketing office in Melbourne for Starcom Mediavest international and spent time in London building marketing & advertising programmes for key agency clients.

 

Miriam Sulda – Human Resources Director

Miriam has been with iSelect from its very early days joining shortly after its formation.  Initially acting as an advisor to the business, she has been the Human Resources Director since 2004.

Her expertise in human capital management and development was gained working with global high-technology companies and smaller high growth companies in Europe and Australia.  She has successfully recruited high performing talent to iSelect across the business function, from contact centre operatives to executive management, to drive the business forward.  Critically she has been instrumental in creating the performance oriented and unique culture of the company.

 

Matthew McCann – Corporate Development Director

Matthew joined iSelect in February 2008 as Corporate Development Director.   Matthew comes to iSelect having spent the previous nine years in the UK, developing and launching start-up technology and media businesses.   Before leaving the UK, Matthew was the Commercial & Strategy Director of British Telecom Plc’s mobile TV business unit – Movio. 

As well as extensive experience in corporate finance, strategy and operations, Matthew holds an LLB and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal and High Courts of Australia.”
